Following national competition, the school has been designated a Centre of Excellence in teaching and learning by the universities funding council. It is one of only 6 schools of art and design to achieve this designation. The award will result in the enhancement of specialised teaching and learning facilities, including the latest digital design and production equipment used by our subject. Our project 'Artswork' will provide new vocational opportunities for all students of the school, through a series of working partnerships with the leaders of national and international companies.
