Recognition Day Award winners

The brief to 'design a challenging, interesting, exciting, awe-inspiring, thought provoking visual response' wasn't exactly simple. But back in March the judging team at Cog Design in Greenwich, sponsor of Recognition Day, had to whittle thousands of entries into just fifty.
Julie Wilkinson in her final year of BA Graphic Communications, will receive £500 for her entry "Home Sweet Home." Illustrator Kathryn Cook who helped pick the winners said this entry was her favourite: "Apart from the issue it is highlighting, I just think the image is quite beautiful."
In total 16 entrants will have ther work printed as part of Recognition Day, and included in this list are Chris Wharton and Hiromi Suzuki also in their final year of Graphic Communication.
